Who runs this site

EDON is run by Kaveh Asadzamaneh (Kave Asad), Espoo, Finland. Write to info@edon.fi about anything on this page.

What this site collects

As little as it can. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and to protect the site from abuse, as described under Hosting below. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Beyond that, we only receive what you choose to send us. There is no advertising, no tracking and no analytics cookie on this site.

If you request a toolkit or a tool

We store your name, your work email address, the moment you ticked the box, the exact wording you agreed to and the address of the page you sent the form from. We use them to give you the files you asked for, and to email you related content: new tools, articles and information about EDON's services, written for people who lead strategy, transformation and turnaround work. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never takes away your access to the files. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, and for a work address also our legitimate interest in writing to professionals about subjects that belong to their work; you can object to that at any time. The data is stored in a Cloudflare database in the EU. We keep it while we stay in touch and delete it no later than two years after our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask.

To keep automated abuse out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots. After you submit the form, a small cookie named edon_access keeps the download page open for you for 12 months, or until you clear it. It holds a random code and nothing else, and it is not used to track you. If we delete your request, the code stops working.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, that choice is kept in your own browser and is never sent to us.

If you book a call

When you click a booking link, we count the click together with the date and the page it came from, and nothing about you. Booking runs on Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com receives your name, your email address and anything you add to the booking, and shares them with us to set up the meeting. Cal.com has its own privacy terms.

If you write to us

When you email info@edon.fi or kave.asad@edon.fi, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to continue the conversation you started, which is our legitimate interest in answering you, or a step you asked for before an engagement. Our email is handled by Zoho Mail in its EU data centre. We keep correspondence while the conversation is relevant and delete it when it is not.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse. We do not use that data to identify you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to its use, by writing to info@edon.fi. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi.
